Lynn Lowell, O.D., FCOVD, FAAO
Dr. Lynn Lowell was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She and her family moved to Fort Worth, TX as a young child. She attended Keller High School and went on to study Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University. She graduated with honors from A&M in 2002.
Dr. Lowell attended optometry school at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and graduated in May 2008. After optometry school, she completed a Post-doctoral Residency in Acquired Brain Injury and Vision Rehabilitation at SUNY State College of Optometry in Manhattan, NY.
She currently is the director of the Vision Rehabilitation program at the Neurodevelopmental Sensory Enhancement Center, along with Dr. Charles Shidlofsky. It is her life’s work to unveil visual problems (both acquired and developmental) and help those individuals suffering from visual deficits to regain the necessary skills to live up to their full potential and lead successful lives.
She feels that it is both a privilege and an honor to be involved in this field of rehabilitative medicine and looks forward to what the future has in store for Neuro-developmental Optometry.
