Lisa attended Oklahoma State University. She decided to work in an optometry because of what our practice does seemed very interesting to her and she wanted to learn more about the brain and eye connection.

She has never worked before in optometry, but her professional experience includes neurology, back surgeons, and ophthalmology. She grew up in Plano Texas, and she enjoys watching hockey, reading, and spending time with her three kids who are all in college.

John is one of our neurosensory testing interns and he attended BYU or Brigham Young University where he got a bachelor's in psychology and developmental biology. He decided to go work in Optometry during his Gap years before going into Professional School down the road. He's fascinated by the brain and the eyes. He's just starting out in the optometry field but has worked at a Brain Rehab Clinic as a clinical assistant.

John grew up in Salt Lake City. He enjoy basketball, spending time with family, the outdoors, church service activities, and hiking.

He is currently married for almost 3 years.

Carla is new member of our neuro sensory testing. She is in her senior year of her associate's degree in Psychology. She is currently attending Collin County Community College in their honor roll. She is a member of lulac and insulin4all.

She decided to work in an optometry when an old optometrist needed a secretary for a few months before the old one got back from maternity leave.

She's been in the eye field for six years, specifically in Optometry, with practices who specialize in glaucoma, retina, and cataracts. She previously worked in a pawn shop for three years and she has her own pawn broker / bail bond license.

She was born and raised most of her life in Plano Texas and a few years in Central America. She enjoys UFC, football, and baseball., traveling, and shopping with her girls.

Linda Maxwell

Linda is new to the practice and works as both a patient service coordinator and our myopia management counselor.

She attended school in East Texas.  She has over ten years of experience in the field of Optometry.

Her favorite part of the practice is working with patients and helping them understand that even if they don't need their vision corrected with glasses or contact lenses, they still need an annual eye exam. She really enjoys helping people to achieve their best vision and explain to them that when you pay more for a quality product that the visual clarity is worth it.

She grew up as an army brat where, by the age of 15, she had traveled 26 days and five countries. Her favorite activities are reading, spending time with her cat and dog, traveling, and watching movies. She also enjoys crochet, baking, Relay for Life, and supporting MD Anderson.

She wears glasses and contact lenses for nearsightedness. She started wearing glasses at age 8 and started contacts at the age of 19.

Janice Nilsson

She enjoys everything about the practice and the great team of doctors and staff.

She received special training at various optometry and ophthalmology practices.  She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA).

Janice enjoys helping patients who have been to other practices and help them find the answers that they need.

She advises patients that they should select a good optician when trying on frames so that their vision and fashion are well taken care of. Plus, annual exams are very important to help check not only your visual acuity, but the health of your eyes as well.

Janice grew up in Irving, Texas and currently lives in Plano, Texas. She enjoys traveling, snorkeling, hockey, cooking, and spending time with her family and two cats.
